I was working on the new article (articles 4 and 5) today. Then decided to go around and walk to see the daily life of Turkish people in this part of the city. I stayed for around a week in probably the most important tourist area in Istanbul and most people in the streets were tourists.
Turkey is a good example of attracting tourists. I think it is a good idea for the green party to, besides democratising the purchase votes, work on natural attractions around the world (mostly in Africa and less developed countries). This is a different facade of Green’s economy. Developing platforms where people around the world can invest to build tourism complexes in small areas in those regions where tourists can spend some days in those complexes with all necessary requirements. This is good for locals. This is also good for Green parties as it emphasizes a different aspect of the green economy. This requires collaborations between Green parties in different countries. One of the requirements to tackle climate issues is the ability to work with other countries. Projects like this connect green communities worldwide.
UPDATE 1:
Among the most important steps to tackle the climate change issue is to raise public awareness. Developing tourism complexes like this is in accordance with that purpose. It is not just an economic activity, but also it aims to protect nature by bringing people closer to the dangers it faces.
