W42 – 6 May 2024 – UPDATE 1 – Platform

Israel seems to be determined to attack Rafah. This is the next move:

I said some months ago that it would be better if I moved to places hit by the war. I think it’s the time now. Firstly because students in the US and other countries have been actively objecting to the war. To push them away from interactions which might be prone to violence, they can be effectively doing something to help people in Gaza. If Israel decides to go on with the attack, this will be the exact opportunity to do the plan. This can be a live map of places being hit by bombs available routes, locations of shelters, etc to facilitate the aid workers to do their tasks in helping civilians. The map will be built and updated by students, as an active way of protest.

This should be welcomed by the Western governments which are currently criticized by their people because this turns potentially violent protests into constructive social protests. This can be an example for future demonstrations.

To do this I should move to Gaza. I will contact a charity active in Gaza and explain the plan.

Every step the war camp takes will be a step backwards.

UPDATE 1:

Sent an email to ActionAid International. A closer connection should be established between aid workers and charities active in Gaza and protesters objecting to the war.
