I don’t write a lot in the diary section. But when I get important phone calls for example then I write about it.
Yesterday I got a notification from an AI app to start a chat. I saw the ad for the app the day before that and thought it was good to talk with an AI agent every day (that was a tutorial app for doing debates and things like that and I thought that was beneficial). But yesterday I got the notification to chat (which would sound normal in normal situations), and around the same time, someone connected to the Snapp project called me after a very long time (which I ignored and didn’t reply to). It became apparent to me that the AI app was a trap. Others could intervene in the process. For example, while I thought I would be chatting with an AI agent, in fact, I would be chatting with security people.
I removed the app without starting to chat. From now on I will not use AI apps at all (I used physics AI tools on a few occasions, actually I was only testing them, and I won’t use them again). Also, I won’t watch YouTube suggestions for example or install apps and tools recommended in ads because things can be recommended to me for specific purposes.
I had to say this because, although AI tools would be very beneficial for my studying in physics and math, I shouldn’t use them.
