Free speech is essential everywhere in the world. But it is sometimes hard to understand what is being said. For example, burning religious books doesn’t say anything except that the one who ignited the book was trying to convince the Swedish government to accept his application. Free speech would be to discuss the positive and negative aspects of different religions in a civilized way. If insulting the values of other communities (without providing viable arguments against them) becomes a trend, everyone will do it in the future as a good technique to support their requests. And this will increase tension worldwide, making it very difficult to build constructive discussions among different beliefs and religions. It’s important to make it clear that free speech is freedom of argument and objecting to different opinions.
Anyway, one person’s mistake cannot be generalized to all asylum seekers.
UPDATE 1:
Not all asylum applications are valid, but statistics say most of them are. however, this doesn’t justify removing asylum seekers before even their cases are heard.
