W9 – 24 Sep 2023 – UPDATE 1 – Platform

Sent an email to the Green Party and discussed the social ad platform.

Also, I was travelling by bus yesterday and had some hours to think about the other project. I had heard that Kim Jong Un had passed a law forbidding wearing jeans. It’s clear that this idea came to him instantly he didn’t spend time to check if it was aligned with previous laws. That is similar to a mathematician who sets an axiom spontaneously without considering the rest of the structure. In contrast, math theorems are deductions from past expressions (theorems). Laws are somehow similar. Laws should be in accordance with the Constitution. Lawmakers cannot come up with ideas spontaneously. In the Un’s example, that law would contrast the freedom of choice (if this is included in the Constitution). The current method is that lawmakers write legislation but then judges decide if it contradicts the law or not. The better approach would be that laws are built using available building blocks (which are similar to the Constitution and previous laws). So a politician cannot come up with a law that defies everything, because not all ideas for new legislation can be built by available blocks.

UPDATE 1:

The Green Party will be merely a coordinator in this project. It is open-source and decentralized so earnings will be distributed among a large number of small-scale companies and start-ups. So the project is developed by the private sector. If the Green Party is banned from being directly involved, the project will still be developed. However, before starting the project, it takes some time for the party to draw the outlines of the project. Working on a theoretical program is not against the law and Green should start working on it soon.
