Elon Musk may be the symbol of centralization. That is not only because of the accumulation of wealth, but also his style of management and his ideology. In the transition phase from centralization to decentralization, it will be better to minimize the conflict between these two viewpoints as much as possible. I don’t know what Musk’s response to this project will be, but it’s beneficial if he considers Kushner’s experience and approach while Trump was in charge. Kushner ignored the most basic principles of negotiation. When two sides are involved you can’t ignore one side entirely. Of course, his side would be so happy to see such a one-sided deal. The issue is deals are to be implemented and Kushner apparently forgot that. You’re not there to make your side happy, you are there to solve the issue and trade-off is central here. I hope Musk doesn’t want to redo what Kushner did. Whatever Musk’s approach will be, the main question is what he is willing to offer to the other side. If he prefers Kushner’s approach then he can be entirely ignored as he will not make any difference in the conflict at all.
