When the stability of a regime relies on the wisdom of a leader, and his wisdom turns out to be a joke, insiders will try to protect themselves. That’s because the “bravery” of supporters of the regime to suppress people will vanish as soon as the stability of the regime is visibly shaky. They will have to protect themselves against an angry nation.
So Iran’s regime has no other option. It has to let parallelism challenge its governance so that the transition will be smooth and non-violent.
Meanwhile, it’s best for insiders to keep taking a bow so Khamenei thinks his regime is stable because his wisdom is not doubted.
UPDATE 1:
I say it knowing that I can be arrested at any time. At this stage of the scenario, that will make no difference (if not promoting it).
UPDATE 2:
Israel raided the West Bank and said that it targeted Iran.
It has been said plainly and clearly that Netanyahu’s camp blocks the Palestine solution. It’s obvious that Netanyahu is trying to destroy the plan. On the other hand, now that it has been explained that Khamenei is on the way to the plan as well, it could be foreseen that Netanyahu would reinforce Khamenei to block the plan. This move undermines the legitimacy of Khamenei among Iran’s regime supporters.
