Netanyahu’s policy about Iran’s regime is now in total chaos. On the one hand, he needs Khamenei to stop parallelism. On the other, he wants to empower destructive movements in the region. Small, weak and unstable countries are the best outcome. So they won’t pose a real threat to Israel but at the same time, Israel is surrounded by constant threats so that the far right will always be in power.
Netanyahu and Khamenei are now in collaborative mode. Both of them so badly need an enemy to guarantee their political future. But as mentioned before this policy is chaotic and paradoxical. This policy only reinforces parallelism.
The first step to tackle these ideologies is to remove the cohesion of their policies, and now Netanyahu and Khamenei have fallen into the trap.
