Because I wrote about scenarios, I should write about my past experiences and the things I was asked to do. I didn’t know it at the time but I was unknowingly in the scenarios they had written for me so I should clarify it now.
This blog starts with my trip to Turkey more than a year ago. I openly tried to build platforms which incorporated a new type of ad mechanism in the UK that would involve tax and so should be built in collaboration with the UK government. I openly wrote about it at the time and there was no secret about it. I was told to go to Turkey for security reasons but there were lots of uncertainty about my trip. It’s clear from my blog that I thought the delay was because the conservative party was trying to take advantage of the project for election and I refused to collaborate so the conservative party wasn’t collaborating. That was what I thought at the time and I stayed in Turkey for many weeks hoping that something would eventually change because I was sure they had no option but to start the project and collaborate with me. I was wrong and I had to leave the turkey and come back to Iran although I thought it would be a security risk. I wrote about all of it in the blog before returning to Iran.
During my time in Turkey, I used to work on math articles (some of them will be used in the book I’m writing now). But also I had a social mission. I was 37 and had never gone on a date with anyone. My social life was terrible and so I tried to fix it. It had been very difficult. trying to talk to strangers girls in a different language was the most difficult thing I could think of. I really wanted to stop it but I thought I had to do it and learn how to socialize at the age of 37. I was no longer a youngster and was surrounded by people who were trying to take advantage of the election, etc. so I thought I should do things I was meant to do years earlier. So I tried to start talking with any random girls I saw in the streets and elsewhere. That was really embarrassing but that was a practice I had to do. Needless to say, I didn’t succeed except once. I met a girl in a cafe, started talking to her, she agreed to talk to me. The next day we met again and talked. She talked about Turkey and the society. Then she said she had to talk to her dad, left for the rest room and when she came back she said she had to go. I thought we could meet again but she refused. So I never saw her again.
So the Turkey trip for me was mainly about trying to socialize with girls I randomly saw in the street and cafe, or beach, etc and asking them out.
UPDATE 1:
In my blog, I wrote about things I were doing when I came back. Specifically (among many different startup ideas), I was working on a platform that was similar to Wikipedia. That was the first phase of a more complicated project but the first phase was a platform where people could collectively write articles. In Wikipedia, users can write and edit paragraphs, etc, but in the new platform, there were voting mechanisms and other tools that made it possible for people to discuss ideas and collectively write an article. I found a programming company in India (because I couldn’t work with companies in Iran and the project was refused several times in Iran). After some communication and working on the structure of the project, I was asked to pay the first instalment. I wanted to pay via a relative but I was told it would be a security risk for them so I sent the money via another company that was indirectly suggested to me.
Then I went to Dubai. Again I have written about it in my blog.
UPDATE 2:
I was told to stay in Dubai for different reasons. I was there waiting to start the project but they kept saying different things. I sent an email to myself as a record at the time containing one of the topics and my conversation with them. I did not have much money in Dubai. I never got any money from anyone, not on the turkey trip and not any other time. I get money from renting a house, that’s my only source of income. So no payment from any government etc.
I didn’t have much money and I thought they were trying to put me in a situation where I would accept their terms. I clearly said when my money is finished I will return. In Dubai, I was in contact with the programming company and the other company that was trying to send my money to India. The transfer company said they had tried several times and they couldn’t send the money, etc.
Then there was the Raisi crash and a relative of mine passed away. So I returned to Iran for the funeral. I didn’t hear about the transfer company afterwards. I didn’t send them emails except for once because it became apparent to me that it was linked to governments, so I forgot about the money and the project for security reasons.
In Iran, I continued my socializing practices and used to go to cafes regularly. But for the reasons I wrote about in the past, I decided not to go to cafes anymore. Currently, I mostly stay in my flat and write about the math book, and I’m careful not to meet anyone at all.
UPDATE 3:
I forgot to say, a day before going to Dubai a girl sat next to me in the cafe and started chatting with me. We went out for lunch, and after lunch, she left. She sent me messages a few times afterwards and asked about ordinary things (how I was doing, what I was doing, etc). After sometimes I didn’t reply to her messages.
It’s very common that when I’m in a cafe, Iran, in collaboration with others, sends girls to see my reaction. I never talked to them, but she started chatting with me. However, as I said I don’t go to cafes anymore.
