The next step should be combining FS and the paper model.

UPDATE 1;

It is said that the c plane is defined for approaching photons only (because relative v for receding photons is undefined), also it was said that only the mult inverse is defined in the c plane. So since there is no additive inverse, then the c plane is a half-plane because there is no additive inverse to map the positive portion to the negative portion. these two things are connected, meaning that receding photons are undefined because there is no additive inverse.

W24 – 12 Jan 2024 – UPDATE 1 – Social

There are two opposite options: A) an all-out war and B) the other option which was discussed previously.

People around the world are already fed up with the war and if it escalates people in the West and around the world will not side with Western governments, instead they will join the third front which condemns both sides of the conflict. On the other hand, Iran faces many challenges. Those tensions are waiting to be ignited so that there will be social unrest on a massive scale because there will be no security forces in the streets to control people. Security forces will be on the front line fighting with Western countries.

So this is a badly lose- badly lose game for both sides. The thing is none of the parties likes to be seen as a loser in this game. Iran can’t stop because it will look too bad and the West can’t ignore insecurity in international trading pathways. Both sides want a way out but they don’t know how to do it without being seen as a loser.

West should present a long-term Israel-Palestine plan with Iran (via Saudi Arabia for example) so Iran stops the attacks without being seen as a loser in the conflict.

UPDATE 1:

Many people in Western countries especially younger generations are angry about the way the conflict has been handled. They see what is being said publicly and think this conflict will last forever with these one-sided policies. What happens behind closed doors is hidden from the public.

It’s not sufficient for Western governments to try to reduce fatalities and casualties of the war and say it out loud so the public understands they are doing something. They should also present the public with their long-term plan for the region. So they are informed of their intentions. If younger generations think this conflict might start another Iraq war that will directly affect them things will be much worse. The solution for politicians is to present the public with long-term plans. Besides, the public is at the core of the plan. This will also affect immigration so it’s not for left-wings only. In an all-out war, there will be a large number of refugees. That is in contrast to building the region. So this is not a left-wing plan.

This implies that the other party (Iran) should also be included in negotiations. Because no one-sided plan will last for a long time. The Houthis’ attacks can be an opportunity to start public discussions about the long-term plan which Iran is also included.

When the public is informed of the plan, the cost of destroying it will be much higher.

W24 – 11 Jan 2024 – UPDATE 2 – Diary

Sent emails to politics, economics and technology editors in the Guardian yesterday. I’ll wait until Friday and then will contact academists at different universities. If I don’t get a response I will keep sending emails to different people (in forums, etc – it serves the project the best to avoid any controversy). Since this is the Green Party’s project I won’t email Sadiq Khan because the London mayoral election will be on the same day. However, it should be clarified that although the project is run (but not owned) by the Green Party, all parties, including Conservatives, Labour and Lib Dems, can create events (far-right content will be excluded, details about that should be specified later on).

UPDATE 1:

I’ll contact the University of Cambridge enterprise today. it’s good to do things concurrently because the project should start as soon as possible and any delay may jeopardise the entire project.

UPDATE 2;

in the email I sent yesterday I said that 2024 can be a special year to reshape people’s involvement in democracy around the world. I have no doubt it is in the best interest of everyone in the UK (and around the world, I would say) if the UK initiates the change. Then the UK can build on top of it and become an important player in constructing the next steps. It’s clear that if the UK doesn’t initiate the change itself in the general election, it will be difficult for the UK to be part of the process and the development around the world.

This project provides equal opportunity for all parties, and so is politically neutral.

W24 – 10 Jan 2024 – UPDATE 2 – Platform

Since this project is about the election, it shouldn’t be run privately. When I said coordinators shouldn’t earn money by the project I meant they shouldn’t be able to change the project to their financial benefit. It’s probably required that users open accounts with their national IDs to protect the platform against fake accounts.

This project is the Green Party’s initiative and will be run by them but it doesn’t mean people with different perspectives are omitted. I’ll contact the Guardian because of its stance on environmental issues. This makes it the obvious choice. However, competition between different viewpoints is critical in any project. It’s important to make sure the environment is set in such a way to ensure the competition is healthy and productive. The objective of this competition is not to omit one another but to evolve the project.

It was said that posts on this platform are in the form of events. Meaning that event creators can specify the structure of events. Two main things should be specified by them:

A) The governance model: How the event is being moderated and governed. In the dictatorship model, the owner of the event can omit posts at will and can block anyone they wish, etc. but that’s not the only governance model. The variety of governance options is good for the public and educates them on how small communities can be governed. New models may be added later on by developers along the way. The formula for earning points is specified in the governance model. So there is no universal formula for that purpose. This makes some events more popular for users to participate in. However, the owner can decide that he/she collects all the points themselves. To clarify, there is a universal formula that specifies how many points each event gets (based on people’s activities in the event, etc) and then the governance model specifies how those points will be distributed.

B) Structure of updates and users’ contributions: It’s very important how data is presented. The easiest method is when people write comments one after another. This is not the most efficient way to present data. The way data is presented specifies how it can be evolved. So there will be different layout options for event creators. Again more formats can be added later on.

UPDATE 1:

This is not a complex project. It consists of two sections: A) for users and B) for companies to add offerings

There are 5 main modules in the first section:

1) voting module – it involves governance mechanisms

2) searching (events, offerings, people) – it includes tag assignment mechanism

3) layout module

4) reward module including payments, etc – optionally can contain the functionality to sell and buy points

5) various functionalities (profile setting, etc)

UPDATE 2:

An important part of the project is the economy of donation. People shouldn’t randomly press the donate button whenever they see an update. That’s as if they have limited capital to donate. If they keep donating their donations will be less and less valuable due to inflation.

Posted in Platform | Comments Off on W24 – 10 Jan 2024 – UPDATE 2 – Platform

W24 – 9 Jan 2024 – UPDATE 2 – Platform

Because the general election is probably in May, things should be changed a bit. This is the plan:

I’ll publish an article which will address Just Stop Oil. Because the way they promote their ideas (by disrupting things, etc) is the opposite of how things should be promoted. They currently want big companies to reduce their profits and earnings for the good of society and the earth. This is called donation. In reality, they ask companies to donate and to encourage companies to do so they block roads, etc.

So one part of the project is to redefine donation and how it should work. The second part is that since political parties use a top-down approach to run their rallies, the aim is to provide a platform where people can earn money by supporting what they want to support.

So I’ll write an article and discuss the shortcomings of the disruption approach and explain an alternative approach which is this platform. Since it is about election the coordinators of the project will earn absolutely no money in this project all money will be paid to users of the platform. So companies willing to advertise themselves directly pay users.

Currently on social media platforms, likes and shares have the same weight. Each like or share is a type of donation. People would like to donate to content generators but instead, they promote it by liking or sharing them and companies pay for that content. The content generators and people who promote the content will earn money. So if a user promotes 10 posts and 4 of them are paid, this user’s next promotions will weigh more than another user who promotes 10 posts but 2 of them are funded. Also, those who promote a post earlier get more weight than those who promote already popular posts. So people get paid for content generation and promotion.

In the article, I’ll outline the overall project and things that should be developed. Companies can also pay developers to develop those sections. However, the project should be as simple as possible and the development phase shouldn’t be complex.

UPDATE 1:

here content refers to all types of social media updates, social gatherings, ideas, etc.

Before writing the article I’ll contact people in the Guardian and discuss the idea.

UPDATE 2:

This platform is a bit different from other platforms where users have a list of following/followers, etc. and view new updates from people in their lists. Here, each post is an event. Events might be social gatherings, discussions about a debate, or any other event. Events are created and defined by users (define means specifying the structure of the event). Then other users add new stuff to different events. So one event might contain mainly texts and discussions about organizing a social event, or another event might contain videos/images/ etc. about a topic.

Because the general election is in 3-4 months the targeted advertisement mechanism cannot be very complex. Most of it can be handled manually, meaning that content creators associate tags with events. Also, it’s good if users are presented with a list of companies wishing to donate. Imagine a user gets lots of points, he/she then can be given a list of companies willing to sell their products to them with a discount or pay them directly, etc. Users will then have an option and choose their rewards themselves. So it’s a semi-targeted ad mechanism. it’s simpler than complex AI algorithms. It’s better for the users too, they can accumulate their points for a big discount or something instead of winning many small things. This method simfiles the ad mechanism a great deal because most of the functionality is being done manually by users themselves.

So it’s not a targeted ad at all. Companies list what they wish to offer. Then users select their rewards based on their points. So instead of companies searching for users who might be interested in their products, users themselves will search through the list of rewards and offerings.

W24 – 9 Jan 2024 – UPDATE 1 – Diary

I wrote and submitted the applications to Founders in around a week or so. I had no time to form a team.

I tried on different occasions to contact the Green Party, in my opinion, that was the best way of doing things. It seems I should contact entrepreneurs in the tech sector. My approach would be to contact the Green first and then talk with entrepreneurs.

UPDATE 1:

The political and economic aspects of the project are very important. In a normal project, it’s best to approach other people and investors involved in this area. However, this project is about elections and the economy and these things, so my approach will be to discuss the idea with economics and political science professors before contacting the tech people. This is a research-based project so I should form the research team before the tech team.

W23 – 6 Jan 2024 – UPDATE 1 – Social

I sent an email to the Green Party some days ago and discussed that in the top-down approach, political parties get donations from influential people and organizations and then spend it to run campaigns and rallies to persuade voters to vote for them. In the bottom-up approach, social networks are formed to impact the behaviour of influential organizations. It would be very beneficial if the next elections provided info about the distinctions between these two approaches for research purposes. One clear result is that when social networks are formed elections will not be win-all or lose-all any more.

Then I discussed that it’s necessary to run joint projects with Green parties in other countries. However, cultural and political differences between countries must be considered. It has been mentioned many times that it will not be a good world to live in when all people speak the same language and all cultures collapse into a global culture. Cultural preservation should also be emphasized in Green’s joint project.

UPDATE 1:

It is expected that this project in the UK will encourage all parties to adopt more green policies.

W23 – 6 Jan 2024 – Phys

Based on OOP construction, numbers, for example, can be constructed differently. Different constructions may contain new properties and view numbers from a different perspective.

It was said that natural numbers (or n+1 algorithm) never reach infinity. Because, for some finite number n, n+1 is also a finite value. Real numbers never reach infinity as well. However, it was discussed previously that projective geometry adds an inf mechanism to R. The same is true for N. It means it’s possible to add an inf mechanism to N as well. If natural numbers are placed on a line (to form a lattice), the distance between consecutive elements is always 1. Still, when viewed by the stationary observer located at the origin, the growth rate shrinks. That is (n+1)/n approaches 1 at infinity.

The next section of the inf article discusses an inf mechanism for N. The approach is to consider 1 (the step size) and n as distinct entities. Then It’s possible to assign different behaviours to 1 and n. This is necessary because 1 gradually tends to zero, and the motion of n stops at inf. This can be done by utilizing the circular symmetry. This will be explained in more detail later on but briefly, n+1 is always a point on the complex unit circle, the step size is the cosine and n is the sine. Based on this approach natural numbers are described based on a new symmetry and the aim is to see if it provides new info about N.

New symmetries may shed light on previously undetected properties. This is also true in the social context. For example, if the symmetry of a government (i.e. a system) is based on military purposes, these purposes define foreign, economic, etc. mechanisms and relations. The aim should be to change the symmetry so that the defining element of a system moves away from military purposes (for example) to economic processes.

W23 – 4 Jan 2024 – Platform

Symmetry of a system tries to change it in such a way as to adapt to the new situation without being totally destroyed. If the system faces many challenges, clearly the worst approach will be to oppose them all and try to keep the curve unchanged. However, an enormous shock to the curve may cause the system to collapse altogether. So the best approach is to modify the symmetry mechanism so that the system gradually adapts to the new situation and produces new curves.

When all elements exist to ensure the curve will roll back to its previous measurement, it’s not advisable to push for a radical change all at once.

When tension is high between two individuals, it’s best to avoid each other as much as possible. The same applies when the tension between a government and its people is high. With high inflation and tax rates and heavy social presence the hypothetical government is in constant contact with its people.

One of the main areas of tension between Iran’s government and its people is Iran’s regional policies. If that changes in such a way that Iranians are included in international interactions, they don’t spend so much money for abroad military purposes and instead, they earn money, then that is something Iranians will consider as an achievement. This is good for the Iran government because it is protecting Palestinians, and simultaneously it decreases the tension between the government and its people.

Of course, for long-term survival, the symmetry mechanism should be updated. This is not a trick to silent Iranians, this is the first step toward adapting to new situations.
