W20 – 13 Dec 2023 – Diary

Today I was working on submission to Cambridge’s Founders scheme. I’m currently stopped from finalizing the application. If the issue is solved I’ll submit it tonight and work on another application (the new internet) tomorrow.

W20 – 13 Dec 2023 – UPDATE 1 – Social

153 countries, excluding the US and UK, voted for a resolution for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Politics in democratic countries move away more and more at greater speeds from obligatory policies.

UPDATE 1:

The UK parliament passed the immigration bill. It is too election-oriented to have any positive effect. Immigration bills require the exact opposite attitude: long-term considerations and plans.

I’m in the middle of this issue and will clearly attempt to impact the approach to immigration.

W20 – 12 Dec 2023 – UPDATE 1 – Diary

Conventional wisdom says the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Still, when you’re at war with two big enemies, any of those enemies will think, before taking any action against you, whether they want to offer such a generous gift to their enemy—a failure of conventional wisdom.

UPDATE 1:

I might travel to Armenia or somewhere so Russia can easily arrest me. Can’t wait to be in Russian prisons. When I’m there people should work on the platform. The first step is of course the programming issue.

W20 – 10 Dec 2023 – UPDATE 3 – Platform

block-based internet is decentralized at its core.

This type of internet incorporates intermediary services. For example, if individuals want to sell a product they will need to use code blocks for the check-out process. In the current model, all functionalities are accumulated in one website (Amazon for example), but in the block-based internet, several check-out code block providers will compete with each other. Accumulation of services is far more difficult in this framework and this will lead to more democratic economic structures.

UPDATE 1:

Block-based internet requires modular programming and blockchain structures. AI can very easily be incorporated into this type of programming.

Through blockchain structures, users can adapt, modify and build on top of other people’s blocks. But blockchain has another advantage too. It structurally facilitates the formation of communities because people in the same block are linked. Governments try to enhance economic productivity by supporting startups and economic activities. This type of internet, at its core, comes with a suitable mechanism for this purpose.

UPDATE 2:

There are pros and cons in an open-source economy. The advantage is that resources will not be wasted to rebuild things over and over again. But its clear disadvantage is that it discourages innovation if innovation is not economically beneficial. in a blockchain structure, the evolution path of a block is clear. It is possible that blocks in the previous layers also earn money when blocks on the upper layers are being used. In the check-out example, when an individual buys the service from a code block provider, all blocks in previous layers used in that particular code block (the one that was actually sold) will earn money. This means blocks that are indirectly used again and again earn money although their blocks have not been bought. This method supports good blocks, the ones that help the economy the most.

This type of revenue generation is exclusive to the open-source economy, so in this sense, the main disadvantage of this economy turns into a positive point.

UPDATE 3:

blockchain structures require different types of programming languages. It’s much simpler to debug AI-generated codes when the building blocks of the code are not new to the programmer. Programming will no longer be writing codes from scratch but instead, it will be linking different building blocks where each block is contained in a different blockchaine. This changes the nature of programming and inevitably changes the programming languages that will be used. Universal building blocks will be inevitable here. Programming languages will then be like complex systems where new complex entities are built based on simple building blocks. This changes the paradigm of what programming language should be.

This specifies the structure of blocks too (for example updates in SM). Blocks are codes consisting of several other blocks.

The US vetoed the UN peace resolution arguing it was a formula for disaster. The US thinks a ceasefire at this point will mean Hamas will survive. It appears Biden is convinced Netanyahu’s plan is a good election strategy. It doesn’t matter each day of this war cultivates more anger in the minds of Palestinians and critically endangers the peace process in the future. What matters is that, when Gaza turns into an unlivable place, Biden will have something to be proud of, in the election time.

W20 – 9 Dec 2023 – UPDATE 2 – Platform

I’ve said many times that these projects should not belong to any specific party. This inevitably implies that these projects are not aligned with the party interests of the UK government. It appears that the UK government has little interest in supporting such projects that are beyond party interests. So I should find a path myself. I had to contact the Green Party. This wasn’t the safest move but I thought I couldn’t wait any longer. It is expected that the UK government will not impose restrictions on my communications.

UPDATE 1:

In the presentation of the social media (SM) platform, it was said that learning is a construction process. To build a structure it should be built block by block. Learning is the same. It should be constructed block by block. Learning is not achieved by watching/reading unrelated random updates here and there. Building a knowledge block is a detailed process and should be planned beforehand.

Imagine this: SM updates are not isolated posts, instead each post in this platform can be extended into a knowledge block. For instance, when a user watches a video about cooking, he/she can explore ways ingredients are produced. Personal AI is critical in the development phase of knowledge blocks. AI might suggest related books or it can suggest travel agencies to book a trip to places where those ingredients are cultivated. So services will not need to have websites to provide their services, instead, those websites turn into AI modules so that personal AI can search through them and suggest suitable services. This changes how online content is organized, how search engines work, how users use online content and in general it changes the internet and how it is structured.

UPDATE 2:

Due to the exponential growth of information, new internet is required. It’s not efficient anymore to provide a list of thousands and millions of websites containing a specific search keyword. It’s far more beneficial if search engines operate in the same way ChapGPT works. It averages all entries about that particular inquiry. It should also include links to relevant services and more detailed explanations. This requires a new type of content organization other than conventional websites.

Then websites and SM updates are fundamentally indistinguishable and are based on the same structure. More precisely, SM updates should provide capabilities for all possible online activities.

Also, the search process should be an evolutionary process. It means the inquiry should evolve into the output. This is the inevitable consequence of the structure of the new internet because each update in the new internet also evolves into a knowledge block. So each keyword (which is contained in an update) is accompanied by an evolution path. In the previous example, cooking could be evolved in different ways. This affects the search process.

W19 – 30 Nov 2023 – UPDATE 2 – Platform

A while ago I wrote that tourism can be used as a means of natural awareness. It’s probably time to work on this idea more.

In documentary movies about nature, the crew follow a group of animals for some months and film different periods of their lives. In contrast, when people travel to a natural place they see one tiny section of that movie. People visit different places but those are tiny dispersed clips. Natural awareness requires that those tiny sections be glued together. Currently, there result of visiting different places is a set of dispersed video clips. That’s as if one goes through an environment profile on Instagram and watches different clips. This doesn’t generate natural knowledge very much. Imagine a group of animals migrating from A to B to C, etc. during a year period. A, B and C are in different countries. This requires a network of tourism agencies to follow the route. The idea is that each trip shouldn’t be an isolated incident. It should be part of a bigger journey. That’s like living with nature and its inhabitants for a long time and migrating from one place to another because the journey continues even when each trip is over. This requires that tourists and visitors are linked together via a social network.

I’ll work on it more but the main point is that discrete incidents should turn into an awareness that people are not alone on this planet. This happens when they live with nature throughout different phases of nature.

UPDATE 1:

The program links kids from different countries together. This can be a school program for natural studies in two or more countries for kids (accompanied by their parents). Kids track specific animals for some years and learn about them and nature. They will get to know them and grow up with them.

UPDATE 2:

I’ll work on the idea for a few more days then contact an environmentalist. I’ll ask her to join the project as a colleague. Then I’ll go to Dubai and work on the project. It takes time to get to know people and this is the necessary first step.

The conflict in the Middle East is not a battle to defeat the other side. It is a battle to develop mechanisms to turn conflicts and hostilities into constructive collaborations. It is not specific to this conflict in particular and that’s why it’s so critical globally.

Those who push the battle toward win-lose battles or those who think, instead of collaborations, there should be ways to separate a race, are not helping.
